The User Guide covers drawing, weights, rendering modes, variants and export. The same guide ships inside the app under Help, so it works offline.
The free trial is a download from this site: the complete app, fully working for 14 days — saving and exporting included. After that the app still opens, but saving and exporting are disabled until you buy the full version.
