Boolean Operations

McKinley has four different boolean operations that can combine multiple paths.

They are all found in the Path menu, available when you have multiple paths (or path-coercible shapes) selected.

Unite

Unite merges the selected shapes into a single shape with their combined outline.

Minus Front

Minus Front subtracts the shapes in front from the back-most shape, cutting away wherever they overlap it.

Intersect

Intersect keeps only the area where all the selected shapes overlap, and discards the rest.

Exclude

Exclude merges the shapes but removes where they overlap, leaving those overlaps as holes.
